New tourism businesses must first register their business by contacting Tourism Destination Management System (TDMS) team. They will assist you in creating a TDMS Tourism Operator Profile of your business.
Your Tourism Operator profile will be added to the TDMS database and will be used to create your business listing in the annual Traveller's Guide and on NewfoundlandLabrador.com.
You must complete a Tourism Operator Profile and submit the form via email, fax or mail.
To have a listing within TDMS, you must meet the requirements for listings.
We accept listings for accommodations, parks, events, tours, attractions and shops only. To receive a restaurant listing on NewfoundlandLabrador.com, please contact the Restaurant Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. RANL membership is not a requirement.
Your website listing is usually activated within 48 hours. To be included in next years' Traveller's Guide, you must submit your Tourism Operator Profile by May 31 this year. For example, to be included in the 2012 Traveller's Guide, you must submit your profile by May 31, 2011.
Once you have created a Tourism Operator Profile, you can request a user ID and password so you can manage your listing in our database using the automated web update system.
You can use this system to update your website listing at any time or for updating your listing during the Annual Submission for the Traveller's Guide.
