Taking place in Raleigh, North Carolina, the 7th Annual SEUS-CP conference will take place from May 4-6, 2014 at the Raleigh Convention Center with more than 250 Canadian and U.S. business leaders participating. The conference will offer a great opportunity to network with key global leaders.
Included in the robust agenda is a B2B matchmaking program that will match delegates from across the 13 alliance jurisdictions to maximize business opportunities. As well, businesses will have the chance to meet directly with procurement officials from the SEUS/CP anchor companies.
Raleigh is an area of great opportunity with strengths in a number of sectors, including aerospace and defence, security, and ICT (including gaming and digital media). Matchmaking will be focused on, but not limited to, these key sectors. Additionally, there are significant military installations in North Carolina, which is home to the third largest military population in the United States.

Business Development Mission to Washington, D.C. and the Sea-Air-Space Expo

The Department of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, in partnership with Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), and the Aerospace and Defence Industry Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (ADIANL), is seeking expressions of interest in a business development mission to the Washington, DC area the week of April 7, 2014.
The program will include attendance (and access to the Canadian Pavilion) at the Navy League's Sea-Air-Space Exposition and additional meetings with companies and agencies in the defense and security market. The Sea-Air-Space Exposition brings the U.S. defense industrial base, private-sector U.S. companies, and key military decision makers together for an annual innovative, educational, professional and maritime based event.
Additional activities will be organized in conjunction with the Canadian Association of Defense and Security Industries, the Canadian Embassy and local industry associations.
The program will also include matchmaker services, market intelligence reports, industry briefings and access to the Canadian Pavilion and meeting facilities at the expo.
