The Tourism Branch markets Newfoundland and Labrador as a top-of-mind travel destination and works with the tourism industry to develop high-quality, competitive products, facilities and services and a professional tourism industry.
Tourism Marketing offers various advertising and communications opportunities for tourism operators through its Advertising and Communications and Market Development and Travel Trade programs.
Tourism Product Development facilitates the development of market-ready tourism products to support the development of the province as a premier tourism destination while creating jobs for the province's citizens. This is accomplished in part through training, best practices, and collaborative partnerships with other government departments and agencies, tourism organizations and stakeholders.
Client groups for the Tourism Branch include tourism operators, travel media, travel trade, regional and community economic development organizations, tourism industry associations.
